What is Property-Based Involuntary Lien Data?

PropertyRadar now includes comprehensive involuntary lien data, covering both property-based and person-based liens. This data detailed information about liens recorded against properties and individuals, including modifications, extensions, postponements, and releases.


Using Property-Based Involuntary Lien Data in PropertyRadar

What It Is

Property-based lien data includes liens recorded against properties rather than individuals. This data helps identify properties with outstanding liens, such as mechanics liens (MLN) and association liens (ASL).


Where to Find It

You can use search criteria to find properties with Property-based Liens. Records with Property Liens are also highlighted using Property Signals, small icons located on the Property Card and Property Profile, making it easy to identify properties with liens at a glance.
For detailed information, including lien documents, navigate to the Transaction History tab within the Property Profile.

Finding Criteria

You can locate this criteria under:

  • Add Criteria > Loans & Liens > Liens

Property-based Lien Signals

Properties with one or more open property liens are highlighted using Property Signals on the Property Card and Property Profile.

Person-Based Involuntary Lien Data

What It Is

Person-based lien data includes liens recorded against individuals rather than properties. This information is crucial for understanding the financial obligations of property owners.


Where to Find It

You can use search criteria to find properties with Property-based Liens. Records with Person-based Liens are also highlighted using Person Signals, small icons located on the Contact Card and Property Profile, making it easy to identify property owners with liens at a glance.
For detailed information, including person-based lien documents, navigate to the Transaction History tab within the Property Profile.

You can find the new criteria under:

Search > Owner Details > Personal Liens

Person-based Lien Signals

Properties with owners who have one or more open person-based liens are highlighted using Person Signals on the Property Card and Property Profile.

There are two types of Person-based Lien Signals:

  • Person Lien Signal:

    • This signal is visible if the person has one or more open person-based liens. This does not apply to related subsidiary documents.

  • Property Has Person Lien Signal:

    • This signal is visible if any property owners have one or more open person-based liens. This does not apply to related subsidiary documents.
