With the PropertyRadar Mail Merge feature, you can create a message to send to your potential customers by merging data from your List into a Microsoft™ Word document, to create personalized letters, tri-folds, and brochures. The Mail Merge video provides an overview:
Using Mail Merge in PropertyRadar
Templates make creating personalized copy easy to send to your List of potential customers. Use the following steps:
From the Main Menu, select My Lists to use mail merge with an existing List. Then, using the List card you want for the mail merge, click the Connect menu, and select Mail Merge.
Other places in PropertyRadar where you can use mail merge include:
- Using the Actions menu inside of a List; great for when you only want to send your mailing to certain properties in your List.
- Using the Actions menu in Discover; a quick way to use mail merge without making a List.
The Mail Merge window is then displayed.Select the template you want to use from the options below. When you click the template, it will download to your computer. You can open the template in Microsoft™ Word to make the changes you want, then save this new document.
In the Mail Merge window, click Continue.
The Select Fields to Export window is displayed.
If you're satisfied with the Fields Included in your Mail Merge file download, click Continue. Otherwise, if you want to change the Fields Included, first click the Create New Field Set button and make the changes you want. The next window is displayed, where you'll see three sections specific to your account: Export Summary, Purchase Summary, and the checkmark indicating that you understand the terms identified.

This Mail Merge file will download to your computer. Although this file looks like jibberish, it provides #hashed data for the template.Open your Microsoft Word template with the fields are already embedded, then merge your mailing list by doing the following:
- Open the Mailings toolbar in Microsoft Word.
- From the Select Recipients menu, select the Use an Existing List... option.
- Select the List you downloaded.
- Go through the rest of the Microsoft Word Mailings toolbar steps to complete the process to Finish & Merge your template.Now you're ready to preview or print the results of your mail merge.
